Police violently broke into the private home of a Bellevue, WA couple with an adult autistic son…
in the middle of the night…
despite their earlier call that he was not at risk, after a neighbor had called in a welfare check…
despite alerts from the police dispatcher the situation had been resolved…
bursting into their bedroom to arrest Quentin, despite the parent’s refusal to allow entrance, crashing thru the parents who were bodily blocking them at the bedroom door…
then proceeded to handcuff, injure, and bodily remove the pajama-clad adult autist… unarmed, posing no threat…
without any warrant or form of authorization…
Simply claiming that they had the authority to do so because they were responding to a “human services emergency.”
If that doesn’t scare you… autistic or not…
Please check your pulse.
Then… if able, read up the American Constitution on unlawful searches and seizures.
Let’s not allow “human services” to become a codeword for the advancement of the power of a Police State.
